A Journey of a Lifetime

I know I am a day late with the big reveal. The truth is, we were visiting my Mother-in-Law this weekend, and when I got home last night I was exhausted. So, better late than never! And here it goes.......
In 2007, I weighed close to 400 pounds. I completely changed my lifestyle an in a year and a half, I lost over 250 pounds. I was able to maintain my weight loss until I became pregnant in the fall of 2010. Since then I had another child in 2014 and did a brief diet attempt last summer. However, I am at the point that I am ready to get this weight off for good.
I will be taking you step by step on my journey. What I am eating, how I am exercising and how I feel. I will share my triumphs and my disappointments. I will become an open book, the good, the bad and the ugly.
I will share any product I use, recipes and if you choose, you will be able to participate with me and hopefully have the same results. This will NOT be a diet, this will be a FULL lifestyle change. Research says, a habit takes 21 days to break, it would stand to reason then that you can create a positive habit in that same amount of time.
What you can expect:
- I will update each night at first, my meal plan for the following day. As I determine what is most successful and obtain enough data, I will eventually start to post a weekly meal plan.
- I will post a short synopsis of each day. I weigh daily. The reason I do this and this worked for me in 2007 is that it tells me if what I am doing is working. It also allows me to know when I reach a plateau and I am able to quickly adjust.
- I will post my starting weight and will continue to update daily.
- I will post before and after photos as I make progress.
- I will answer questions you may have.
- I will be raw, honest and share every aspect of this journey.
My start day is going to be next Sunday. So with that said, if you would like to join in on this journey, this is the time to start mentally preparing for your change. So
I have noticed a lot of you checking out this page! Thanks so much for
your interest. Only five more days until the big reveal. I have received
a few messages from some people, inquiring what journey I will be
embarking on. I will answer a few of the questions here, just to clear a
few thing up.
Will you be selling something?
That has been the most popular question. The short answer is "NO"! The more in-depth answer is, absolutely not!!
I have nothing against anyone trying to make a buck, whether it is by
selling pearls, wraps, jewelry, patches, drinks or whatever other
products that are out there right now. I however, do not have the
patience or time it takes to make a business like that successful. So
for now, I will just be a customer of those type of products and
continue to blog. What I will be doing is more life changing then
selling stuff! "Really? What could possibly be more life changing then
making money?" you ask? Well, money is important, I agree. None the
less, my journey will be even more important than making money. At least
to me and my family. This journey will yield so many benefits not only
for me, but my husband in children as well. I bet those wheels are
turning. Is your curiosity peaked yet?
The
other questions I have received center about trying to get information
from me. I apologize in advance, but no, I won't tell you! I trust you
when you say that you will not say anything, however I won't tell. Look,
you only have 5 days left. If I tell you then you will miss out of the
excitement once I reveal the big event. I could not possibly let that
happen. Could you imagine the guilt I would feel if that happened. You
wouldn't want to put that burden on me. Would you?
Here
is a hint: This will be a challenging and life altering. There will be a
huge reward at the end of my Journey. You will be able to follow every
step of my journey and even take part in it if you so choose to.

October 16th is going to be an exciting day. I will be announcing the details of the Journey I will be embarking on. I have thought about this for a long time. The exact details are starting to come together and I am so excited to share them with you. You are probably wondering what it could possibly be.
